After a busy fall full of school and work, Ender surprised me with a birthday trip to Squaw Valley Resort in Lake Tahoe. We arrived in the evening with just a little snow on the ground. When we woke up in the morning, everything was white! Thank goodness Ender had told me to pack a warm coat and hat!

Our waitress at breakfast suggested a tram ride up the mountain for the views. After a little walking around at High Camp, Ender wanted to go outside, where it was lightly snowing, for the second time. Still unsuspecting, I was enjoying being outside, watching the few skiers and looking at the peak as the snow fell. I did not "get" why Ender was telling me that he wanted to ask me something. In response to my confused "Well, what?" Ender proposed! I demanded he put the ring on my finger and he pointed out that I had forgotten to say "yes".

Luckily for me, Ender still wanted to get married and we are counting down!
